Hi all, :hi: I recently bought this thinking it was Scandinavian, the base is flat and does have alot of scratches to it, if it is marked to the base you can no longer see due to the wear, measurement is 11 inches high. Thanks in advance
Robert.

Snap, but in blue. I'm not really any help to you as I've never managed to pin the maker down. The leading candidate is Sea Glasbruk of Sweden.

Hi David, Thanks, at least its Scandi, would this date to the 50's/60's?...My one has enough wear on the base to suggest its of the roman period lol.
Cheers Robert.

I think I'm the only Roman period piece around here, but, yes, lots of wear. I would have said 60's.

Looks like an exagerrated version of A couple of Per Lutken's designs.
Ross
Mine below is dated 1958

A little like Lutkens, but more likely a relative of 'Coquille' from Flygsfors.

I thought of these two when searching the net for an ID, but never would of thought of Sea Glasbruk being the likely candidate.
Thanks David and Ross very helpful as always.

Hi,
Just to add some interest to the mix, I'm pretty sure your 'bowl' will glow bright green under UV too with a very nice effect (I handled this exact piece myself recently) - can't contribute to ID though unfortunately so Sea until proven otherwise I guess.
Cheers, Charlene

It won't glow uranium green though...
