I think this is probably Bohemian. Not really sure. But the decoration is so great I thought I'd post it here in case anyone recognises it and could maybe attribute it to a particular source for the decorating perhaps.
Enjoy :)

That's beautiful,I've not seen one like that before,it makes my plain orange one look,well plain,,great find ;D ;D,sorry can't help withattribution ;D

I do not know who did it, but the decor is fabulous..... Very likely a blank decorated by another house.....

thanks all :) It's so striking isn't it?
Craig, yes I was thinking it may be a Kralik box decorated elsewhere. I love the shape, finish (the satin and the iridescence) and the decor on this one. It's so beautifully made as well, the rim is quite thick and the outer part of the rim on both the lid and box is satin but the inner edge of the flat rim from half way in has been polished shiny. Really nice touch.
I have now looked at a vast quantity of boxes and, rather irritatingly, can't find any this shape unfortunately.

Sorry - can't help with an ID, but I have an identical one to your orange lidded box - in pink. Also have a similar one in yellow with black enamel rose decoration to the lid. You can see that one on the Glass Trinket Sets site, listed as Mystery Set 38.

ooh, I would LOVE to see the pink version :sun:
and I had a look at your yellow which is gorgeous
Anne, if you read this, you have a pink trinket box with coralene decoration on the trinket set site. I think we've discussed this before but it could be the same maker (Kralik) or decorator (Goldberg) as my orange with coralene perhaps?

Sorry, I can't work out how to get a photo to show, so here is a link to a Picasa album showing the pink pot and the yellow one, and a small similar one with a Japanese theme painted on the exterior pot wall:
