I'm asking on behalf of somebody else, he has a pair of 'bark' textured vases that I don't recognise, here is the label.
Anybody recognise it?

Could it be IG for Ingrid Glass (of Germany)?  They did make quite a few bark vases.  Just a guess as it's not a label I've seen before.  Might help to see a pic of the vase?

Vases.. not my pics, they'd be the whole silhouette against white background ;)

Ah, they don't quite look like Ingrid Glass to me, Keith is probably right, could be Japanese maybe.
