Isn't this paperweight (http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/710-53481-19255-0/1?icep_ff3=2&pub=5574631383&toolid=10001&campid=5336261829&customid=&icep_item=300548489028&ipn=psmain&icep_vectorid=229508&kwid=902099&mtid=824&kw=lg) Strathearn, rather than Perthshire?

I don't know Alan. It's a toss-up. The weight has the Strathearn signature cane and separate date cane (1970 I would guess). BUT it comes in a Perthshire box with certificate.

I suspect the two are a mixed marriage.

I have sent the seller the following message:

"For information, the paperweight is not a Perthshire Paperweights piece. It has a date cane and an "S" cane which identifies it as made at by Strathearn. Simply a case of a weight in the wrong box."

And the listing is now updated with the facts.
