This rather oriental - like decoration reminds me of Turkish brass decor. I especially found the light brown floral strands between the blue diamonds interesting.
I have no idea who might have made it help would be appreciated.

Is it my eyes(getting old) or is that an impressed mark on the base?

I'm sure I read somewhere that some of these types of decorated opaline vases could also be French. I think it may have been on the Great Glass site.

looks like a gilt decorator's mark. I vote Czech.

Keith means the long mark to the right of the decorator's mark. I vote Bohemian/Czech too.

Defiinitely no impressed mark Keith - a couple of "dimples" and what looks like a cut remnant. There is a base marking I forgot to blow-up which I am adding now.

Sorry I just wanted to add that this was where I read the info about some of these possibly being French decorated - scroll down to third item on this page

sorry I wasn't being very precise, actually it says that there is a new theory that these opaline pieces were made in England but then decorated by French immigrants who settled in England.

No offence to our friends over the pond but if it isn't Moser it's either Webb or Stevens and Williams or Bristol...

but the reason I found this info in the first place was because one I had my eye on (sold by someone local to me and it had disappeared from the cabinet, only to reappear on ebay) was being sold as Italian :-\
