Chris, I don't think you're squirrel is Murano. It looks like it could be either Mexican or Oriental to me. Not your best animal! Poor squirrel.

I got word that your Neighborhood Leaque of Squirrels (NLS) is plotting a break-in to push it off the shelf.

Funny you should say that I listed 2 Whitefriars bud vases today as a pair one amethyst one lilac reached up to move the pesky squirrel from it's prime position in the glass wall cabinet and the blighter deliberately knocked over and smashed the amethyst one.

'fraid so Rosie just saved the 0paline pink and the amethyst labelled and the smoke one with the unfinished pontil mark the rest are in the garden has we speak in a black bin bag depending which comes first tomorrow the charity shop or the dustman culls are sometimes necessary when you have a house cluttered with glass and a 'other half' who doesn't appreciate it. Sad innit

I'm doing a lot of this at the moment!

Don't do it Chris...someone somewhere spent time, expertise and love producing those....at least let a charity make some money out of them.....I have just sold a load of glass on eBay to raise funds for the tsunami....why not list them as charity listings next free listing day?

Rosie.

Oh, dear. This sounds like cruelty to animals. There must be a glass humane society somewhere. Many people would like the glass animals. Selling them on eBay is tough because there is so much competition. eBay isn't the only game in town, though. There are charity shops, car boot sales, friends who need gifts, etc. The squirrel actually looks like just the animal to send to exotic places for photographs. Squirrel at Windsor, Kremlin, Vatican, Taj Mahal, Great Wall of China... Of course, someone would have to take the trip.  ;D Sounds like fun.
