Just wondering if anyone knows where this may have been made or how recent it is please?
Thanks for any info :)

Pretty recent. These are popping up everywhere, sometimes with clear instead of opal glass

thanks :)

I have seen quite a few ceiling lamps in chrome with this kind of shade -- IMO made in the 1970s, perhaps early 1980s. (I even own one of those, in a nice space age shape with a chromed Saturn's ring around the glass globe :))
So not (so) recent I think...
But can't help with manufacturer, sorry. My guess would be German.

thanks Michael - that may help a bit. I had thought it may be Dutch. I have searched high and low and not come across another. I would really like another one and had been wondering how I would 'fix' it to be a ceiling light. My problem is I need two pairs of lampshades for two rooms, but I can never find a match to the ones I like.
Christine, if you have any links to more I would be really grateful. I've searched the whole of ebay for glass shades and various lighting people but never seem to find my match.

I've seen them at boot fairs and in antique centres and fairs. I'll keep my eyes open.

thank you :kissy: It would be good to finally get some lightshades up that I like - and then maybe even get my Murano lamp base rewired if I can find someone I can trust not to damage it ::)

Hi come on various lamps generally ceiling ones, mine has five shade hanging down at various lengths of wire to make a spiral effect, they are Italian to the best of my knowledge, they are held by three screws into a tube fixing.
best wishes andy

It reminds me of some Mazzega lamps I've seen.

This is what a single one looks like - apparently Italian
