HI anyone help identify this maker for me, i bought it in the mid 1980s from an auction but only just unpacked it after a house move its about 22cm high this glass matt surface finish, ground pontil signed and numbered on the pontil edge. When i purchased it it was just listed as an Art Glass Vase.
Slight opaque with yellow almost sponged effect to the outside.
As i make out the engraved signature is something like heidelacid heichtacid hacilacid the numbers read 4113 with the letters J(i think)J after that
thanks andy

Hi
Sorry I’ve been late in picking up on this item, as it is not listed under Scandinavian glass. But Ivo is right, it is Arne Jon Jutrem (1929-2005) for Hadeland in Norway. This is one of his last designs before he left Hadeland in 1962 (he returned in the mid 1980s to become head of design there, producing some glorious pieces himself). The number 4113 signifies the model in Hadeland’s art glass series. Not a common sight, this piece would date from 1960-61.
