I purchased this and was told it was 1950s murano glass, would like to know if this is correct, any opinion is appreciated. Thanks Darlene

I vote yes, and I reckon it will glow nicely under UV light. ;)

:-\ What do the Czechsperts say . :-\

Or Czech ? :-\

I don't think I'm enough of a Czechspert yet, but my hunch would be Murano before Czech, as the latter usually looks less 'curly'.

Something says North American to me. Are you in North America?

Yes I am in Canada I know I have a collection of Canadian glass. I am pretty sure this is not Canadian glass, but I learn't a long time ago never say never. Thanks for your reply. Darlene

I was thinking more of the US than Canada, some company like Tiffin, for example. The piece seems a little less flowing than Murano, although it certainly is within the possibilities of Murano.
