Hi all
picked up this Perthshire alphabet weight, ive found a little info but its quite limited.
They started making these in 1969 and each year put a different letter of the alphabet ending with Z in 1994.
Mine has the letter Q inside which i think works it back to 1985.
Does anybody know who would have been the designer on these weights, Was there a set number made each year and do they have a pattern name/number?
Very nice complex canes in these, a really pretty weight.
Concave top faceted window, 5 faceted sides, base is flat and polished with a star cut, 6cm in diameter, 4cm in height.
many thanks
michelle

Pattern number is PP14 - the only one covering the entire alphabet.
Unfortunately I cannot give any further info - apart from it being limited, without a number given in the "Complete Guide ...".

Thanks Wolf, any information is fantastic as there does not appear to be a wealth of it on this weight.
many thanks again
