Modern pig bottle, not bank, in a wonderful simple design. Do I hear anyone cry out Denmark?
-
They're well-known for producing bacon in Denmark......
-
It's not ringing any Danish bells here.
-
or perhaps a family resemblance from Finland?
-
Ivo, I know this isn't it, but I thought it worth adding as you may be interested anyway. Also perhaps Sweden may be another area to investigate?

Nice one! I know pig and bear bottles are Scandinavian or Russian - but I had not seen the Faglavik version .

SOLVED. Iittala, decanter "NAPSU" no. 2819 from 1987, designer is Valto Kokko.

Excellent :) I suppose that is what helps with having the glass in your hand, as I would have said the only similarities between the two pieces was that they both had cork stoppers and were both clear glass.

Here's the pig with original iittala sticker and little black eyes.
