Well I've been through all the U.S. sources both written & personal & its come down to this is possibly European because it doesn't match up with anything U.S. 9" diameter, 4" height, very small base, blue has some very faint whiteish streaks in the base, base is a very tall straight ring type, bowl is very heavy (thick) for its size. I'm not at all familar with European opaques so I'm lost here. Thanks for the help. Ken

so not Northwood then?

Almost certainly US production rather than European; Cambridge 'Azurite' would be my guess.
:)

Thanks Ivo & Mosquito, however the base design of a 3/8" height solid ring does not fit either Northwood (Jade Blue which is in the majority of cases sprayed for stretch) or Cambridge Azurite (not even special article pieces) in either lines that anyone is aware of & thats why I thought maybe it might be European although I don't have the faintest knowledge if any European companies produced this type of opaque blue. This is a very high & straight (perfectly flat) round base ring that isn't documented in (so far at least) in any U.S. glass lines & have added a better close-up of base. Ken

this is Cambridge Azurite underside. Familiar?

Thanks Ivo, however what I need is a side shot of the base that shows the ring. I'm a 22 year member of NCC & as of now we don't have any evidence of any Cambridge bowl that has a 3/8" high base ring...not even the special article pieces...the base rings are simply not that height on any Cambridge bowls, but I do appreciate the effort. Now I won't discount that there may have been a Cambridge mold change in the early to mid 20's (especially the special article pieces) one way or another that might explain this, but as of now documentation of a base ring of this height isn't available.
