Title: Blue Choir Boy Vase or Tumbler
Post by: heartofsklo on May 15, 2011, 07:52:55 PM
Found this little chap today, unsure of where to look for a maker but assume it is Continental/European and from a lemonade style set possibly. Measures a tad over 16cm and the base is smooth without any hard rim edges. Looks like he is singing and carrying a bell.

I'm sure I've seen this attributed to Erik Hoglund but I don't know if that is correct?

hmm, but looking at other posts on here I think that is not correct. I'm trying to wrack my brains to remember where I've seen this listed before.   Also I have seen seom figural glasses that have been id'd as Bengt Edenfalk for Skruf so it may be worth looking in that direction as well.

Nothing remotely like Erik Hoglund's style. Sorry, nothing positive I can add.

Is it an animal or human figure, or both?

John ;D  it's the angle of the photo!!  it's actually quite a sweet piece when viewed front on without reflection from the glass at the back.
