I picked him up in an op-shop. As you can see he needs a good clean(apologies). The base is completely flat.
Maker?
Designer?
Help!!! Ross

I havre 2 very similar, one is Murano with a green and gold label, the other is swedish F N Ronneby.
-
Looks like FM Ronneby to me too. I hope you will wash behind his ears Ross!!
Rosie, :sun:
-
I do not think this is FM Ronneby.
-
I've been having a look at some different polar bears, and I think you are correct Inca....the feet are all wrong. I didn't look at the base roperly.
Do you think that with the lobg snout it could be a Wedgwood bear Ross? How big is it?
-
I hope you will wash behind his ears Ross!!
Rosie, :sun:
:24: May we see a pic after his bath....LOL
-
These are photo's of my Murano bear, his base is very similar in shape and flatness to Ross's.
Lauretta
-
:24: He looks as though he has left footprints in the snow!! :24:
-
and these are my FM Ronnerby ones.
-
Both the Ronneby and the Murano pieces are cased though, whereas Ross's is a solid opal shade.
-
The shape of the head and ears look like distinctive features.

Also compare the base, the edges of base.
Sharp edge? Bevelled edge?
