Title: Czech Glass Fish Figure by Feigl & Morawetz, Libochovice, by Karel Zent. label

Hi all
Just thought i would add these two fish jon picked up recently for his collection.
Mainly for reference and they have a label on i thought Anne may like to pinch for somewhere.
As you can see one of the poor fellas has had his tail fin knocked off and badly repaired, Jon is going to try and re-repair with clear glue and set it in the right place, as its been put back badly. Fingers crossed it will look much better.
Only thing we are not to sure on is the date. Looking on Marcus' CD it appears in the before 1958 catalogue, thats as close as ive got.

950g each, 15cm tall. base 13.25cm by 6.75cm
The label reads

I think they were bookends.

Pressglas-Korrespondenz issued two further catalogues of Glassexport Libochovice '1930' and '1930-39' - no fish.

Thanks Pamela, i will be sure NOT to show Jon your pictures as he will be after them too  :24:. Ive also found one in Blue which is very pretty
Although i must say i am quite taken by them myself.
well then that narrows the dates anyway so 1939 to 1958, one would presume.
I give full permission for anybody wanting to use the pictures

I nearly bought a pair in flint from a local "antique" shop, but someone got to them first, buying just one!!!!!  :thud: :bsh:
The other is still there.
