Title: Amber -- Crescent Shape (slight grooves) ??

I got this when I purchased 4 pieces of Glass for $15 over the weekend.  I have no idea who may have make it.  Amber in color with some slight grooves to it.  Not sure what you call the shape other than a half Sphere (moon shape, or crescent shape) ??  Bottom appears to show some wear.  It is about 6 inches tall and about 7 inches wide......a smaller item.

Also why do some people like to collect only AMBER colored Glass?  Sure it is just a color, but I know people that go GA-GA for amber glass all the time ?

Anyone have any ideas on this piece?  For the price I got all the pieces of glass, it was a bargain anyways  ;)  Thanks  ** (have another different Amber one to post too)

lol....we must shop at the same place  :24:

I did not think it would be a basket, since it did not have a *carrying* type of full handle circular handle......so that is why I called it a Crescent.  I am not finding much either way  :thud:
