:hi: Here is another asymmetrical glass bowl I got -- I guess this is an Ashtray as there are notches in each side.
This is about 7 by 7 inches also. I Think ??? I have a guess for this one -- but not sure. I am thinking that this may be AltaGlass from Canada. If you look at this link HERE (http://altaglass.ca/index.php?set_albumName=bowls&option=com_gallery&Itemid=30&include=view_album.php&page=1) I am thinking that it looks like some of those shapes there. In fact, IMHO I think it looks like this one *HERE (http://altaglass.ca/index.php?set_albumName=bowls&id=mh00110020artglass&option=com_gallery&Itemid=30&include=view_photo.php) except that one does not have the notches. But it sure looks along that same line to me. Even the mottled blobs in the glass.
But that is Only a guess, on my part.... :huh2: :pb:
I am pretty sure if might be AltaGlass -- and I think a lot of times AltaGlass (might) be confused with some :or: glass too. This does seem to be well made. Just realized I forgot to take a pic of the base (whoooooooooops) but not too much wear, and kinda like a brushed finish for the bottom. Still pretty.
Does anyone else think this might be AltaGlass too, or not.... :thud:
