I bought these just out of curiousity as they looked interesting.

The aqua rectangular bottle is marked OWBRIDGE'S and HULL down the sides, and LUNG TONIC on the front.  Owbridge's Lung Tonic Factory in Hull, was apparently known as "The Laboratory" and operated from 1895-1972 - see here http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1223478  It was a popular cough treatment for fishermen and used to treat anything asthma to T.B.

The greenish glass plug lid is marked KILNER BROTHERS DEWSBURY & LONDON around the top, and it has a snapped off pontil mark.

The cobalt blue bottle has two mould seams on either side.  I'm not sure what this would have contained.  Its very slimline.  Reminds me of Milk of Magnesia type remedies :srn:

The lung tonic bottle might have been an interesting "aside" thing to have been in Ivo's "Blue Henry" book!
Thanks for sharing - for some reason you've reminded me of something used on me when I was a "chesty" child - it was called "Pickle's Snufflebabe".
I've always loved that name - but not the stuff - it was just like Vick - smelly and greasy!
