Title: Aseda 'Dog Bone' Vase?
Post by: adam20 on May 31, 2011, 07:47:11 PM
Cased with ruby red a bud vase in dog bone style - concentric bubbles to bulbous base - base polished flat

No label - 7" high which is taller than my blue one - why do they vary in size - I mean small variations

So is it Aseda?

Hallo Adam.

It looks like an Aseda dogbone-vase. Other glassworks had different bottoms, different
size and number of bubbles and some had no bubbles at all.

The Aseda dogbonevases came in 3 different sizes. The smallest came between heights 160-180 mm,
the medium sized 185-220 mm and the tallest 250-300 mm.

Hopefully will this help You out a little.
Best regards
