Title: Huge green bubbled rabbit
Post by: chriscooper on June 04, 2011, 06:06:18 PM
Came from a house clearance, years of dirt and signs of wear to the base so pretty confident it's not brand new
Stands 9.5"

Chris, the color, bubbles, and pontil scar on this one pull me toward North America. I don't know which part of North America -- Mexico or the US. I could be way off here, but I don't see any Chinese in this one. The color reminds me of some of the West Virginia glass pieces.

Now we know there are two of them in the UK, I wonder if it could be British.

"For death awaits you all, with big, sharp, pointy teeth..." :anb: Wonder how many recognise that quote? :sm: :hj:

Finally got round to listing the 'Beast of Bodmin Moor' it actually sold for £1151 sorry £11.51  :sun:
Someone in Italy bought it,  the bad news they didn't bother to ask the postage cost before bidding and it quite heavy 1.2kg before packing, also they have a zero feedback rating :grrr: so watch this space.

With ears like that I reckon he was a hare - not a simple bunny.  Would explain the size a little also.

Chris

Have they got it,  did they cough up the dosh for postage and do they like it???......answers please!! It was a lovely leveret, rabbit, bunny, hare or whatever. Anybody else would have tried to sell it as a Whitefriars companion to Dilly Duck! I liked it Chris, and I hope the new owners do too. :sun:

Paid straight away without question, no feedback yet though that's the next step did it arrive and was it in once piece, having said that no feedback at all from a week ago for about 7 items which is odd? hope they have not gone missing? actually seen it's younger brother/sister on a stall for the last couple of weeks and that looked quite cute but not sure about the ears on that one though.
