Title: Central flower cane? Gold ground...Murano?
Post by: Max on June 07, 2011, 12:46:52 PM
Not great at described paperweights.  I have trawled the Net, but it's hard to search for something when you're not sure exactly how to explain it!   ::)  I hope the image helps.  Signs of wear to the base.

I believe it to be 1950-1970 A.L.T. (Murano).

Hi Carol

I found this on the GMB about ALT (was tricky to locate though): http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,20574.msg116506.html#msg116506

There's a link at the end of that thread which is useful too.  :) :)

The canes look like some that were used by Fratelli Toso. Or at least what I thought was Fratelli Toso.  :ho:
