Exquisite piece.
Nice touch, expecially on the rim and the handles. I think it was made by a very good master glassmaker.

I have to agree with Alex regarding a maestro must have made the piece. I am blown away by the detail still. It really is a very nice find.

Hi
Definitely Veneitan as mentioned and almost 995 certain that it is a very early Barovier and Toso piece. They were known for this very style in the late 19th and early 20th century with applied knops to the exterior of their work.
Hope this helps

HI
Definitely a very early Barovier and Toso piece from around 1890 to 1910. This style of glass was so typical of their work during that period.
Hope this helps

Sorry for the corrections, but many of the things that are said in this group are repeated on eBay and on websites, so we always try to be accurate. Barovier & Toso did not come into being until 1936. The Barovier company in existence during the time given would be Artisti Barovier. The Barovier brothers bought the company from Salviati and worked with them, making glass designs. I have a hard time separating the work of Salviati and Barovier during this time. I have seen a couple of designs that were claimed by both companies. I suspect they were made by Barovier for Salviati and for themselves.
According to Gable in Murano Magic, Barovier & Toso had a separate development pathway coming down from Francesco Ferro & Figlio (1880-1901). Barovier didn't enter the name of the company until 1936 when Ercole joined the firm.
