Post by: Jay on February 05, 2006, 05:48:44 PM
Can anyone help a struggling beginner with these new acquisitions for my collection?

I think, only think mind you, that I might have seen the amber one somewhere on Pamela's website when I was looking yesterday. www.pressglas-pavillon.de

Glen - I think you got it!  No wonder it looked familiar

Pamela has a Bernsdorf Lady vase in pink on her site with the same beveled crenellated edge.

This vase is 14 cm high and 13 cm diameter. That seems a bit chunky for the average dressing table.
The example on Pamela's site is a lot more 'sylph-like', while mine look 'like a lady wrestler'?! :)
Did I miss this 'squat' design amongst the many jewels of Pamela's collection?

There are many shapes in "Lady" - it is not only a boudoir set. Yours may be a celery vase....I'll see if I can find the exact shape.

I shall never know how this one disappeared during the last months, but thanks to you all, it had its revival :P
