Title: Cut stemware acid mark help, please
Post by: uphoosier on June 11, 2011, 11:43:35 PM
There was no way for me to get  a photo of the acid stamp, so my pitiful rendition will have to do.  I checked the list  at Great Glass and a couple of other resources and can't find it.  Does it ring bells for anyone?  Thanks for looking.

Hi there Picasso ........err.........uphoosier   :24: ;D  :kissy:

Have you tried different angles of light?  Is there kinda 2 different marks and spaced apart.  I have no idea who might be the maker at all......looks like 2 mountains with a Cross.     Not sure, but could have something to do with France at all???  As a guess???   I will see IF I can find anything

Do you see anything like it here:  http://www.stylendesign.co.uk/guidepages/marksatob.html (http://www.stylendesign.co.uk/guidepages/marksatob.html)

That is a crown on top.  A diamond is below it.  The figures in the diamond are illegible.
