That's definitive. The three sizes are 20/25/30cm and production years 1967-1976.

The only red versions of this design that I have seen for sale were in America.

Has any one seen any red ones in Europe?

Interesting point!  I've had different shades of green + blue, but no red or amber so far.

I recently bought a green one off Ebay here in Australia - no idea where they got it.

What an interesting point.

Isn't red glass expensive and hard to handle?

One reason for finding a lot of various colours in this design is its long production period. In the -65 and -67 export catalogues there were less colour options than in those of the 70s. It seems the red items are found in items produced from 1970 on.

It has been documented that "In 1965 the export catalogue gave the following alternatives: clear, brown, lilac, blue, violet, blue-green and blue-grey"

I wondered if it was a market thing, maybe red was exclusive to the America market for some reason.

Thanks Ivo, do you remember anything about the purchase, retail or flea market, or?

Hehe  yes!   ::)

To be fair though, I have only ever seen this one, and it's 28cm as opposed to more usual 20cm size we usually see in the UK.
Like Wayne, I've never had a red or amber in that size.

Oddities do turn up though, this is the only brown example of this vase I've ever seen.

Here is number two (unless it is the same one!): http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pid=11749&fullsize=1

A really lovely colour in direct sunshine, I think of it as a cinnamon sort of brown.

Number 2!   (it's definitely not the same one)

Here are some more shapes in the cinnamon brown which you don't see very often.

Robert 1960: What a beautiful cinnamon Riihimaki hoop vase - I've been after thatparticular one for a while now - You're not interested in selling it are you? javascript:void(0);

I've got the equally rare dark blue one amongst my collection.

Lovely designs.
