Title: Caithness Millennium weights: does anyone recognise this tower?
Post by: Wuff on June 13, 2011, 12:01:11 PM
Amongst a large number of Millennium weights produced by Caithness are two by Willie Bain:
London Time (http://www.scotlandsglass.co.uk/cms/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=3546&category_id=66&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=6) and Capital Celebration Edinburg (http://www.scotlandsglass.co.uk/cms/index.php?page=shop.product_details&product_id=3545&flypage=flypage.tpl&pop=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=6).

Recently a weight of identical design was sold on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.ch/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160584898989) - just depicting a different building: does anyone recognise this tower?

Thank you, Ray - looks very similar, indeed! Also the "landscape" (sitting on a rock) would fit.
What concerns me a bit is the roof of the main tower - looks conical on the paperweight, but not on the images I've found on the internet.
