:hi: there:
I just picked this one and only little bowl. Not sure if it a Fruit bowl, Desert Bowl, or an Ice Cream Dish -- as is it like a single serving type. Definitely glows, and this would have fooled me as it is a very light colored green. Good thing I was carrying with me the UV light Paul have given to me as I would not have been sure or not before I bought it (Thanks again). Now I know it has uranium content, I do not know who the maker may be or the age of this item -- plus not sure what kind of single serving bowl it would be. There was probably a set of them at one time. There is a base, but on that base there are 3 curved pieces to the base. These curved pieces have like a little ball on them. Hope the pics are worth more words that I can explain. It has like bumps all over it (might it be hobnail?? type of pattern ??)
Anyone know the maker, or age -- or what this is called?
Picture #1: No flash --> see not much color to it with the naked eye...
Picture #2: With Flash
Pic #3 and #4: UV light
Size:
Tall: 2.50 inches
Wide at the TOP: 4.50 inches
Bottom base width: 2.0 inches
Thanks as always :kissy:

My guess would be American and it's probably what they call a berry bowl (individual not master). Those are not hobnails though; I think those are generally 8 sided. Have a look through here [LINK REMOVED] perhaps just using bowl as a search term.

Hi Lustrousstone :kissy: -- I tried that there, and did not find anything (IMHO) that matched. So still not sure about this. What do you can those bumps then? Or as a pattern? I will keep searching ......
It is a pretty little thing!!

Hello
Adam's No. 130 Sensation aka "Thousand Eye" introduced in 1886 or so. The colour is called apple green by collectors today and in my opinion is the most desirable of the colours which included colourless, canary, amber and blue. Although the pattern has been reproduced extensively in some forms, I don't think your sauce has been.

:hiclp: :hiclp: Thanks Sid for the positive ID there!!
Would you know a date that this is made at all, or was this item made for several years?
Glad to hear it is desirable as I was not sure about it since it hardly shown *any* green in daylight. Again my handy UV light helped me know for sure it was Uranium before I bought it. See Paul S, that light helped me here
I only paid $3.99 for it, so I guess that is a good deal. Wish I could find more, and maybe I will be able too :X: I will keep my eyes out for its *brothers and Sisters*....LOL.

See I learned something new about almost colorless Uranium glass. So does the Amber, and Blue ALSO glow? They must IF they have Uranium in them. If so, I will have to be more careful of checking other colors of older glass.....instead of *just* looking for that hint of green.

I say a    too !!!

This is an example of very pale green uranium glass http://lustrousstone.co.uk/cpg/displayimage.php?pid=729
Have a look through here. This will give you an idea of some of the colours containing uranium (though I haven't photographed my blue pieces yet) http://lustrousstone.co.uk/cpg/thumbnails.php?album=1
