beaker 12,5cm in height with an enamel painting showing the so called Muenchner Kindl
I think it's supposed to be made between 1900 - 1920?
reminds me of ludwig hohlwein.... but I'm not sure at all
help would be great

It looks legit. Your pic allows zooming in to a great detail and I think I can see it is hand applied enamel, not transfer. And that would probably make it to the early years of the 20th century.

But I would love to know what it says. Sau-Dumm is as far as I get - what, pray, is the rest of the text?

hi Ivo,

hand applied enamel in deed and it means something like....
"hereabouts thereabouts allways damn stupid"

the tomcat on the right side of the kindl is the german symbol for a hangover...
(we say we do have a "kater" after too many drinks)
and both the kindl and the tomcat aesitting on beer barrels...

this glass is supposed to be a bavarian maybe students associations funglass
(even I can't catch the funny thing...)

I'm from the north of germany and I think we dont have any humor here at all
but our beer is better than the bavarian beer
