I allready had a discussion about this one with some fiends of mine shortly after I bought it....
I'm not sure about the age, even it shows traces of use and age
a friend of mine said he's quite sure that this is an antique "waldglas" even not green though
and should be round about 220 to 250years old
height ca. 10,4cm
could he be right? how to date it?

Well first of all, Waldglas is green and never uses two different colours, so that one is a nonstarter. What you can say about this glass is that it was handmade, the pontil mark is left unfinished and it has white hand applied (as opposed to machine-) threading on the outside. Such glass could have been made anywhere, but most likely is the island of Mallorca where two firms, Lafiore and Gordiola, make glass in a similar style. Just don't shoot me if it turns out to be Mexican, Portugese, Chinese or Malaysian. Anything is possible....

Very modern, probably no more than 40 years old at the very oldest, and likely much newer.
