is this Raywaere -yellow glass with clear knop

Rayware is a generic name of a homewares company - their glass is made in Turkey - quite contemporary cheap stuff.
However, I've never seen anything as nice as this in Rayware - what makes you believe that's what it is?

Agree with Sue... Looks rather 20´s or 30´s to me, probably bohemian or bavarian.
If there was a bit more contrast between the two colours one might be tempted to
call it Tango...  ;D

Thin, cased, yellow glass is sometimes Japanese too.....
but I was thinking along the same lines as you Dirk.  :thup:

I can't really see the shape very well in your pictures but to me it looks like a Kralik lidded box.
How wide and how high is it please?
