Title: Who made my frosted Zebra?? Desna? Czech? Other?

Hi, I bought this lovely glass Zebra....frosted, obviously moulded and has a strange circular mark on the base which looks as though it was poured into a mould then smoothed off before it was frosted or satinised.  

About 3 and a bit inches long, he has the most beguiling face.

I don't think he is new, and he reminds me very much of a Desna piece I saw ages ago.  No marks on him that I can find.

Desna was also my first impression...  or perhaps Jablonecke Sklarny...

I've just had a very interesting journey through the Bohemiabloggen site and found a Bohemia rabbit like mine with the label on, so I am thrilled. 
But this little Zebra is made quite differently....much smoother silkier glass finish, and very white, as well as the base being frosted, whereas the Bohemia Crystal has a clear base.

 So, I am still thinking possibly Desna....come on Jindrich and Emil....tune in please............

Rosie, I think your zebra is beautiful.  If I had him I think I'd have to kiss him!

Is 'bumping' what one does to get a post back to the top of the list?

He is beautiful, and I don't think he is a 'cheapie' either,  but can't find another one to compare him with! :cry:

Oh Anik!!  Clever girl  :angel: ....I will try contacting them to see if they know any information about him.....I really do believe he is quality.
Can we put something in the title here to attract more lookers please Mods? Desna officionados and the like????  ;D

No luck I'm afraid with my enquiry Anik....I did get a reply, but they were unable to give any ID.....shame.  Still, one day another will come along and all will be revealed.

In the meantime Michelle,  thanks for inadvertantly giving this a gentle 'bump'!!  He is cute, and is definately a keeper.
