Title: Possible Grey Czech vase, help on an ID please

Hi All,

I was wondering if any one could shed any light on this vase that was given to me the other day. I thought it was possibly Czech, but the colour isn't one I would have associated with Czech glass. It looks very similar to an Italian vase that I have seen on the forum but this isn't marked Italy and the base is shallower than the Italian one.

It might be German, they used smoke colours and these sort of patterns (though usually not in combination?). But if so, I can't put a maker on it.

Hi, the vase is just under 8" tall, I hadnt thought of Germany, I'll have a wee google today, thanks for your thoughts.
