Just noticed this lamp has now been confirmed kindly by Sue from Black Poppy as produced by Riedel around 1935.

That is wonderful news Millart......Black Poppy is a wonderful site and they are so helpful.
I am so pleased for you, and such a nice reputable maker as well.
A very satisfactory conclusion.

Hi
I think Walther and Sohne made something very similar toy your lamp

This one was kindly confirmed by Black Poppy as by Riedel, Circa 1930s
For reference, it is shown in the book 'Riedel 10 Generation Glasmacher' page134.
