Title: Stuart Hyacinth Vases?

I was told by a dealer that a very similar vase to these was by Stuart. Having just bought the one on the right I see it is a slightly different size. Does anyone know if Stuart did make these or something similar? If so, were they in one standard size or were there variations? thanks

Not much of a contribution, I appreciate, but from my limited experience of Stuart I'm thinking that they did in fact mark most of their output with an acid backstamp - and presumably you don't have one.     You don't mention size in your note, and since there isn't a 'penny' or coke can  :), unsure of size of these pieces.   They look smallish, so maybe a crocus vase rather than a hyacinth vase  -  but then you know 100% more about these things than me, so you probably correct.     As a purely random thought, the colour doesn't look very Stuart.

Sorry I should have put in the height. This photo shows the cranberry one in use so it is the right size for hyacinths. The one the dealer had was light blue - is that more usual for Stuart?

I would have thought not, but uncertain really.    Famously, of course, they used amber and green, in addition to the shed loads of clear material, and in their latter years some blackish almost IOW Studio looking pieces, apparently.    Personally I haven't seen anything in blue, yet.    We need someone who is a lot more informed about Stuart glass.     sorry to be of little help.

I would speculate that those vases are Late Victorian/Edwardian and so if they are Stuart they would be unmarked anyway, as the company didn't start marking until 1927 (Haanstra). I would say the slight size variation is insignificant and that they are likely the same manufacturer.
