 :24: :24: @ both Ivo and JP.....You boys.

I guess I should add to that here (as down the line that E-bay link will disappear, with time) -- that is it a HUMPPILA, Handmade in Finland.  Clear label with design on it.

 I 'best' practice what I preach.  I hate it when there is a Positive ID (with label) on Ebay.  Then in time that link disappear and no notation is made (in writing here -  on GMB) so then the info kinda is gone, and we start all over again.

Guess that is my pet peeve... :pb: :24:   I have to remind myself to.   So now I have added the word (re: Search, tag word as is glass Seal) HUMPPILA here.

Tag words are very important in a world of only words... like the Internet

Yes, thanks for pointing that out, Rose!  :girlcheer: If the thread slips through without further comment, the identification is lost.

Thank you antiquerose, for thinking of the future use of this thread and others!  :hiclp: Let's always add the tag words.

I might add that I remember this seal is a member of a series of animals Pertti Santalahti designed for Humppila in the 80's. There are many and I never understood why a series of so different animals from all around the word... or maybe that is the point?  :-\
I cannot recall all but like: a monkey or was it gorilla, walrus, bear and I think many others.
