I think this one may be American. Optic rib with a swan cut. To pull a few names out of the air, Heissey or Tiffin? It bears a vague likeness to the Imperial mallard cut (which appears on their candlewick pattern), especially in the reeds, but what does that mean?

could be Stromberg

Johansfors maybe? 8)

Cathy - It does somewhat resemble Tiffin Swedish Optic pieces but the top edge finish is not correct. All the Tiffin Swedish Optic pieces I have owned had a cut and polished rim.
Like the Tiffin Copen Blue Swedish Optic Rose bowl I have on my website right now

Thanks Connie, Glasshound and Ray!
Connie - I guess it's not  a rare, experimental Steuben?! :D Sorry, just a joke.
Take care,
Cathy

Just bumping another very old topic. I still have this vase. Just wondered whether anyone might be able to help? :)

You might be better asking on www.chataboutdg.com Some of them come here but some not very often

Doesn't appear to be either Tiffin or Heisey. Looks a bit like a generic Swedish piece.
