Title: 1930s (?) Elegant Glass Rooster Art Deco Figurine
Post by: horochar on July 04, 2011, 01:37:24 PM
I'm hoping someone can help me to identify this fine rooster figurine.  It measures a shade under 6 inches (15 cm) tall.  I am assuming it is a 1930s or 1950s piece.  Any help would be appreciated.

Charles.

Hello Charles....I wonder if this could possibly be a Hadeland piece? Many of their animals and birds have this loose, rounded look, and it certainly has similarities to the squirrel design and the puffin.
I can't actually find a picyure of the cockrel/rooster, but I will keep looking.........don't give up, the answer is out there somewhere!

This one shows several similarities...but the seller doesn't say who made it....you could as them though??
