Title: Is this an Aseda vase designed by Bo Borgstrom?
Post by: ahremck on July 06, 2011, 11:46:54 AM
I picked up three nice small vases on Ebay recently.  This one seems very similar to an Aseda - Bo Borgstrom B5/130 vase I found on a Scandinavian site.  C. 150mm tall, nice thick rim, and with the glue from a label still on it.  I can't make out anything from the label but someone may be able to help due its position.

Yes, these have been on the board recently. There is also a labeled example on page 14 of Scandinavian Glass, Fire & Sea.

Thanks John - I don't have a copy of that book (yet).

Don't worry about the book Ross, just clean that glue off! :D

No worries, John!   I will get out the Eucalyptus oil (very appropriate for Australia don't you think!) and have it off in no time.  ;D
