:hi: there:
I found this glass decanter too. It is kinda a wine color, and has cut-out lens in it. It has only 5 small glasses with it, so not sure if there were 6 at once, or only 5. not sure of the maker on this one either ......Borske Sklo ???? ......I am thinking it has a Retro feel to it, so must be from around the 60's or so.....???? Bottom shows some wear
It is about 13.5 inches tall with the glass stopper. Red, and clear with gold -- and also the cut lens in it. Shot glasses are about 3 inches tall.
Any leads, ideas...or info at all?
Thanks as always :kissy: :kissy:

I would say Boske Sklo was very likely again. Unusual to find one with cutting and yes it probably had six glasses

Thanks Lustroussone  :kissy:
I am hoping it is. Glad I picked it up for $4.99. I like all the oval cuttings that it has in it going around. I can live with it only having 5 glasses to it...... ;D
But just out of curiosity, could some set have been made with Only 4, or 5, or 6 glasses. As I think on the Net I have seen some with like 12 glasses. So I just thinking that these *must* have been made in different group amounts to adhere to *what a consumer was looking for* when they bought it.
Just a thought....as worth looking into IF that might have been the case. Different styles, colors, designs....and glasses with each (??) Just throwing a thought out there, and will see IF I can find any info on that

Look through the German and Czech catalogues on http://www.glas-musterbuch.de/, some of them show sets. You don't need to look at every page because the thumbnails will be good enough to show which pages to look at in detail. I doubts that sets would have been sold with more glasses than the decanter would hold though. You could probably buy an extra set glasses of course
