Title: Large Lalique vase, pattern name please....

Post by: Mosquito on July 25, 2011, 06:22:26 PM: I don't recognise the pattern, but a photo of the mark would help in dating the piece. The leaf design reminds me a bit of some of Marc Lalique's post-war designs, so I'd guess it dates from that era.

Post by: msiscoe on August 01, 2011, 01:46:35 PM: It's signed Lalique(R)France, which puts it in Marie-Claude's reign. The leaf is from some tropical plant or tree, and I've even tried researching tropical leaves, without any luck. Regarding the question of contacting Cristal Lalique directly, I have tried that, and they say to send a photo to Christie's.
