Title: Caithness Flower Base Bowl
Post by: adam20 on July 14, 2011, 02:47:52 PM
This seems to be a Caithness bowl first designed in 60s by Dohmnall o'Broin - Neodymium glass with thick paperweight like base which has a nine petal flower in white inset with pink and lilac washes - very like the typical eliptical bowl as said first designed in 60s but updated regularly - any info welcomed

It is from the Tranquillity range - sold between 1996 - 2001.
devised by Jimmy Manson & Jeneo Lewis with Colin Terris, I think this is the small rose bowl - info from Mark Hill's book.

Definitely a rose bowl.
:pb: Where did I acquire the notion that this flower base was a Franco Toffolo design?  :spls:
