Title: amber bowl double cut base
Post by: malcmat on July 20, 2011, 03:13:21 PM
Hi, this bowl has a double cut polished  base and possible was termed as an ash tray as it has a cut out for a cigarette. It has controlled bubbles and gold inclusions within the body. It weighs 871gr and is 3.25 inches tall and 3.75 inches dia and has wear on the base. It was brought back from the USA a couple of years ago. I think it might be Murano but not sure Any help with maker / year would be much appreciated

That is different.....

So the item can have 2 different *sitting* positions......as a bowl, or as (maybe) an ashtray.  Neat!!  Great idea -- but I have no idea who made it, but Unique idea  :hiclp:
