Title: Lalique glasses 1967
Post by: juliag on July 21, 2011, 06:56:34 AM
Hi, I don't know anything about glass and I was hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction. My mother wants me to sell a great number of lalique glasses (champagne, wine, sherry, liquer glasses etc) that were given to my parents as a wedding present in 1967. They are unused and still in their boxes. I have no idea how much this kind of thing is worth and how to go about selling it. I assume Ebay is the way to go - but I don't know how much is a reasonable asking price. I have spent hours on the Internet trying to work it out - but have had no joy. I would appreciate any help anyone might be able to offer. Thanks, Julia

you could offer them through replacements. You can also use replacements to find a ball park figure for them, and sell them elsewhere.

Julia,
i think the big auction houses would be happy to sell or at least estimate a value on a suite of Lalique glasses.
Try sending an email and photo to Christies.
