Title: Small is beautiful, but what could it be?
Post by: rbm6167 on February 11, 2006, 07:25:55 PM
I always seem to be finding pieces which remind me of Mdina in some way or another and so it is with this small frilled vase. I do not believe it is Mdina as I have not seen such colours in their range nor is the base reminiscent of Mdina. Can anyone enlighten me, please?

Many thanks

John

Hmmmm, John!

I expected to see Island studio glass from your title, but I don't think so!!!

Have you considered Alum Bay?

The shape reminds me of Anchor Hocking!

This is a colour that occurs frequently in Caithness, although (AFAIK) their production is always lead crystal, and that isn't mentioned in your post!
