Hello all
I bought this at a car boot recently as it caught my eye (and was the bargain price of £3) and I'm drawing a bit of a blank on it. I've seen one that looks to be the same shape attributed to V.B. Opaline Florence but can't get any further than that. It's swirls of blue, grey, black and white and stands just under 10 inches high. Any leads or information anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated.
Just to be a bit cheeky, I've also attached another couple of files of vases that I believe are Murano (from endless hours of internet searching - but that's one of the best bits of glass collecting!) but would love someone to confirm my findings to date.
Thanks so much in advance for any help.
Helen

Hi Helen, would you please post just one item per topic so we can keep track of what we're talking about, and post ID requests into Glass rather than other forums. Once something has been ID'd then it will be moved to the proper forum for more discussion by a moderator. Thanks.
I'll move this over to Glass now.
Oh and better subject lines will help attract the right persons' eyes as well.

Sorry Anne. I'm a bit new to this so apologies for not following protocol.
Best wishes
Helen

Not a problem, we all have to start somewhere. :) If you'd like to post your 2nd and 3rd vases separately I can shift the images over for them for you.

I've made two separate posts for the other items as you suggested Anne. Hope I'm not going to annoy people by being having too many requests for help now. Thanks for your patience and assistance. Kind regards, Helen

Base and rim shots please.

Hello and thanks for guiding me on how to post requests here. I've attached some extra shots - and I've fallen in love with it even more from looking at the base whilst taking the pics. Happy me.

It sort of says "Alrose" to me.....

Helen, thank you that's very helpful posting them separately for us. I've removed the surplus images from this topic for you too now and added a note to the original post pointing towards the other topics.

Hi Sue
Thanks so much for the lead. I haven't come across Alrose yet so I will have a look into it. I think my original possibility (V.B. Opaline Florence) came from a piece on the 20th Century Glass website. The quest continues... Regards
