Title: Is this Murano as my research suggests? Mark II

Hello
I hope I'm not going to look cheeky by posting too many requests but I just wanted to get some more expert opinions on a couple of pieces that I believe to be Murano (please note, this was part of another request but Anne highlighted that it's better to list them separately). I have tried to wait a bit before calling on the good will of everyone again on this fab forum but I'm sure you can appreciate what it's like when you've got pieces that are flummoxing you!
As ever, any help, confirmation or leads would be very gratefully received.

Base shot and dimensions please. Is that blue in the base?

Hello and here are some more detailed pictures as requested (and thanks, again for your patience whilst I'm getting the hang of posting on here). The dimensions are 12 inches high, 4 inches wide at the base and top and tapering to 2 inches in the middle. There is some blue (encasing the red and then encased itself in clear glass) at the base and some at the top as well (only just noticed that from trying to find the right angles to take the pictures). Again, I saw something similar on a website and the way the colours are used suggest the sommerso effect but I can't be sure and would be so grateful for any more expert opinions.
