Please can you help here? :)
I like the look of this glass cat, but I am concerned that it might not be as described.

Does RK mean Ronneby Konstglas, or might it be Royal Krona?
Is M. Fust a known designer / maker?
Any light you can throw on this might help me decide on purchasing or not.

Hi Rosie. I'd say Royal Krona, I have an owl by Mats Jonasson signed in the same way, which I assume is from the period Mats Jonasson Glass was owned by Royal Krona (mid 70's):

I've no idea who "M. Fust" is.

It seems Fust did work for Royal Krona, so I'd be thinking them rather than Ronneby for the cat.
There's a couple of other listings with the R.K. mark on the base here:

A search of Google for "royal krona" +fust brings various useful results. 8)

Thanks so much Wayne :kissy: and Anne :kissy: .....I think you are both right....Royal Krona and M. Fust.
You have helped me decide.....he is a lovely cat, so I had better find out what the postage will be. :wsh:
-
Hi Rosie,
It is marked RK for Royal Krona so it has nothing to do with Ronneby.
I found some info here on Royal Krona:
http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,9234.0.html
the Royal Krona group was a fusion of the following: Gullaskruf, Åseda, Skruf, Björkshult and Målerås.

I would not rule out Ronneby. I ahve this crystal horse marked underneath as
RK
Ronneby
Sweden
Mi 20
And it has a studio Line label.(see photos)
I would suggest an email to Marcolin/Ronneby
Ross

Hi Ross,
The horse is model M-20 and not Mi 20, and they sign FM Ronneby.....
Could you please add a picture of the signature, thank you!
-
Lovely horse Ross, but I think Inca is correct. ( to me, she is Marcolin / Ronneby!!)
Fascinating reading in that link Inca, and thank you all once again....just waiting for postage details now.....it might be too much though!

Been too busy with overseas visitors and a wife about to start her third round of chemotherapy for Ovarian cancer to get photos done. Did check the signatures - you are absolutely right Inca - though I have to say without knowing what I was looking at my original reading still seemed OK - I wish they all printed clearly. :spls:

 for your wife Ross, I had no idea she was ill......will be thinking of you both over the next few weeks. :kissy:
-
 Sorry to hear about your wife! Really hope that the chemo works as it should. All the best x
(And by the way, I agree with you that all those who sign glass ought to work on their penmanship! Although, it would take away the challenge :D )
-
They should all be taught to print in capitals. See photos for L. Dostal versus Leisa Wharington(Who was only identifiable by the unusual spelling of Leisa).
Similarly the Kosta Boda Warff dish versus the Orrefors paperweight signature (that I originally thought was OSPALETTO) .

Orrefors paperweight signature (that I originally thought was OSPALETTO) .
It sure looks like Ospaletto! ;D
Regarding M. Fust.
When I first saw this inscription I read it as M FW??, and I thought of Folke Walwing and Målerås.
