Title: Uranium finger bowl?
Post by: yesvil on August 03, 2011, 08:49:23 PM
Found this today and must say that it's the most radioactive thing I've  ever seen - it glows in daylight!

I presume it's a finger-bowl, it has a very well-worn base, nicely made being thin and delicate.

Can it be identified? it's quite a simple thing but I'm hopeful as always  :)

You're unlikely to get an answer; it's mould blown and has no particular distinguishing features.

Oh well, thought I would have a go anyway - thanks for looking.

Depending on the quality - is it crystal or glass?  How is the edge finished? You might be looking at Kristalunie Maastricht or Leerdam.  But I do not think you can determine this by looking at a photograph - it needs handling to be sure.
