I coud be way out here, but I'm sure I've seen these in blue, and also a pale green, with a stopper. To me they seemed quite modern compared to other Victorian milk glass but I could easily be wrong. Also something lurking in the dark depths of my memory is saying they might have been used to store bath salts??

Made for Avon I think.

How tall is it?

its 11 /3/4 inches, no avon marks on it and im sure all avon products were impressed with their name

I think it once had a stopper too and that would add a few more inches to the height. I used to have a large collection of stoppered bottles like this lot: http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,38224.msg210699.html#msg210699
Most of them were Italian.
One of them was a dark green colour and I think it matched yours, if so, yours would have had a stopper about 4 inches tall with a flat top rather than a tall pointy top. The bottle I am thinking of had Made in Portugal moulded on the base. Sadly I did not keep a photographic record of all of them so I can not be certain that they would match.

Came across this ebay listing today: 130568702735 (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Dabs-Portugal-Pressed-Brown-Glass-Vase-Low-Start-/130568702735?pt=UK_Art_Glass&hash=item1e66804b0f)
Different colour but same design, apparently marked Dabs Portugal.
Would make sense actually, I've seen a few other modern milk glass items imported from Portugal.

That looks like three colours so far then, well spotted Wayne.
