Ok i'm hoping this is something other than chinese :X:
Its 14cm tall,quite heavy for its size & is lovely to hold,feel in your hands.

The red reflection is from a red bag & i showed it on black as it shows the crackle effect better :X:

It's difficult to say. Crackle glass has been made for a very long time and by many companies in many countries. It's still being made. I think the weight might rule out made last week and perhaps the base is a sign of reasonable quality but...

I only said might, as I also said crackle glass is still being made.

I'm sure I recently noticed some German glass vases that had half crackle half plain...but I can't remember what thread it was on sorry :-\
maybe Riedel? or Harzkristal?
